AI tutors like Vani are powerful — but only if you use them strategically. Here's how to get the most value.

Strategy 1: Ask for explanations, not answers Instead of "What is operant conditioning?" → ask "Explain operant conditioning in terms a 10-year-old would understand, then give me the NCERT definition."

Strategy 2: Use it to check your own answers Write your answer to a board question first. Then ask Vani: "Here is my answer. What am I missing? How can I improve it for a CBSE 6-mark response?"

Strategy 3: Generate practice questions "Give me 5 application-based questions on Maslow's theory." Then answer them without looking at notes.

Strategy 4: Create mnemonics and stories "Create a funny story to help me remember Gardner's 8 types of intelligence in order."

Strategy 5: Spaced repetition prompts At the end of each study session: "Quiz me on the 5 topics I just studied with 10 quick questions."

  • Don't copy-paste AI answers into your notebooks as if you understood them
  • Don't use AI as a substitute for reading NCERT
  • Don't skip the diagrams — AI can explain them but you need to draw them yourself
